this is a top quality organic brown rice. i love calrose variety but it's not easy where i live to purchase it brown and/or organic. all that's available is a conventionally grown polished white. the difference shows when it's first washed - clean and fresh. it cooks fast and very aromatic. i like it by itself but sometimes, i mix 20-30% organic sweet brown rice and/or other whole and ancient grains like organic barley to make the flavor and texture more complex. my body loves it, and it is my family's staple. i will order this again and again and share about this rice with family and friends. this is the kind of "grain" that doesn't **** our fur babies, so i share leftovers with them in moderation. sure it's not their "wild food", but they love it and are super strong and healthy!

After eating 25lbs of this rice, I can say that the flavor and texture is outstanding. Far superior to our grocery store rice. You've gotta at least try a couple pounds if you're not ready for the 25lber.
